Choose a picture from class. Ask your child to point to familiar objects, choose a favourite character or say one sentence. Stop before practice becomes tiring.

Listening and repeating
Revisit a short song or story chosen with the teacher. Don’t expect every word to be understood. Notice expressions your child recognises and wants to repeat.
Value the attempt
Notice effort and willingness to communicate. Instead of correcting every word, calmly model the sentence. Discuss pronunciation or materials with the teacher when unsure.
